I'm a shoe guy. I'll rub an achillies tendon to the bone as long as my feet are well dressed. Luckily my favorite shoe brand, Cole-Haan was bought by Nike or merged with them or whatever, so there are actually Nike Airs under the hood. Why are these shoes posterous-worthy? First, I spent months obsessing over a similar shoe I saw back in Oct. Didn't buy them then. But since I was invited by the US Potato Board to Blissdom, and Twitter has been all abuzz with women rejoicing, lamenting and collborating about shoes for the conference, I figured "eh, why not?" So I went to buy the shoes. But to my dismay, they stopped selling them. So onto Zappos I went. Searched high and low. No luck. I searched no less than 6 shoe stores for a decent substitute. Nada. Tonight I found them. And not a moment too soon. I leave first thing in the morning. I could have gone brown with this style but who wants to blend? I'm gonna stick out like a sore thumb anyway at Blissdom, so why not go all the way. I kinda love these. Who says I can't hang with the mommy mafia?
